We are excited to announce Cru Cafe Chef Travers has been promoted to our Pit Cru Pit Master! Pit Cru is a division of Cru Catering focusing on traditional southern fare such as whole pig roasts, pork, beef, turkey, hickory-roasted chicken and all the favorite sides. While we know everyone will miss Travers we are looking forward to seeing his culinary talents grow within the Cru family.
After all, Travers always said his claim to fame was his Bar B Que, and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve for Pit Cru! Like the new Pit Cru Facebook page for all the latest on Pit Cru and Chef Travers’ new adventure.
“BBQ isn’t simply applying BBQ sauce to meat and throwing it on the grill. Cooking with a smoker is somewhat of an art, a difficult one, if you’ve ever tried it yourself,” says Horton, making him the perfect fit to take lead and mold the newly launched Pit Cru BBQ and Southern fare catering division.
