“Tucked away in an 18th-century single house on Pinckney Street, the brick-and-mortar offspring of John Zucker’s Cru Catering is somewhat of a hidden gem. A buttermilk fried-oyster salad, tossed with applewood-smoked bacon and honey sherry dressing, and a BBQ Berkshire pork osso bucco will give you the idea of Zucker’s gourmet flair with comfort food. As for the rest, locals rave about the decadent four-cheese macaroni, which gets a swift kick from pepper Jack.”
