Wanted to give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Cru Cafe’s Chef Travers for being the FIRST PLACE Winner of the 3rd Annual Smoke on The Harbor Wing Competition.
Chef Travers, aka ‘Black Dog BBQ’, competed against hundreds of local barbecuers in multiple categories such as Best Overall, Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, Pork and Wings. We are thrilled he took home the #1 Prize in the wings category, and must admit… his BBQ is pretty awesome! Congrats Chef Travers!
The 3rd Annual “Smoke on the Harbor BBQ Throwdown” was hosted by the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina, and featured two days of barbeque action-packed competition. The Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS)took part in judging all entries, in addition to unique People’s Choice awards.
