Can you believe that it’s almost 2011? Time has flown by in 2010 at Cru Catering and we’ve definitely enjoyed our prosperous year. We want to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful brides and grooms, their families, wedding planners and all event planners out there who make each event one-of-a-kind.
Our catering directors work hard to make sure your event is a memorable one, so we want to take a moment to thank them as well. If you haven’t met them, they are all such great folks, you’d wonder how we got so lucky to have them all under one roof! While planning and executing all these great events in 2010, our catering director, Chad Rhodes, welcomed a baby girl into the world and soon we’ll have another addition to our Cru family when our other catering director, Jenny Early, has her baby next year! We can’t forget about Emily, who is always smiling and pitching in to help whenever we need that extra hand. We also want to thank all of our great chefs behind the scenes, who work tirelessly to create delicious food that our clients rave about- so hats off to them all!
Although the holidays are hectic, we don’t want you to forget about ringing in the New Year in style. On New Years Eve, our restaurant, Cru Cafe, will be celebrating with tasty dishes and cocktails and the best part…there’s two seatings, one at 6:30pm, the other at 8:30pm. The 6:30 seating has three courses, an amuse and a dessert course all with wine pairings for only $45.00 per person. Our 8:30 seating is a little bit more robust with four courses, an amuse, dessert, wine pairings and a champagne toast. Make your reservations today by calling 843.534.2434.
And if you haven’t been to our lovely restaurant, Cru Cafe, you have to see what you’ve been missing! Located at 18 Pinckney Street, in a classic 18th century Charleston single- style home, Cru Café offers the best in upscale comfort food. Guests of the restaurant enjoy indoor and outdoor porch seating; gourmet comfort food; a wine list tailored to the varied menu; and rich, satisfying desserts. It’s one of Charleston’s BEST kept secrets.
So from our family to yours, no matter how you say goodbye to 2010, we thank you for your patronage and letting Cru Catering be a part of your special event. Happy New Year! Cheers to a plentiful 2011!
