Cru Café is excited to once again join the local fun at this year’s Lowcountry Local First’s 8th Annual Chef’s Potluck on April 26th at Middleton Place Plantation.
Fifteen participating chefs, including our own Chef Travers, will be partnering with local farmers, fishermen and ranchers for a day of delicious LOCAL dishes. Tickets sold out FAST last year so grab yours while you still can- Click Here.
Tickets get you full access to a day of fun including live music by Garage Cuban Band, local libations from Coast Brewing, Firefly Distillery, Grassroots Wine and Palmetto Brewery, a live auction, Wholly Cow Ice Cream, tastings from each chef and some of the most beautiful views at America’s oldest landscaped garden.
All proceeds benefit Lowcountry Local First’s “Growing New Farmers” Program which offers three phases intended to serve beginner farmers with varying levels of experience and needs throughout the lowcountry. This program will nourish our local farming community by offering things such as a Sustainable Agriculture Certificate through the College of Charleston Center for Continuing & Professional Education with optional Apprenticeship opportunities.
